Changes to height policies in the Fire Academy and Construction Site play areas

As a direct response to guest feedback, the Centre has taken the decision to change the height restrictions in place for the two play areas. From Thursday 23rd July, children up to a height of 1.10m will be welcome to use the Construction Site area, all all children up to 1.40m will be welcome to use the Fire Academy.
This change, which of course adhers to health and safety regulations, ensures that our youngest guests can safely enjoy an area without being at risk of being accidently knocked by a taller child, and also provides an area that children of all heights can play in together.
The play areas continue to be areas where parental supervision is required at all times. At busy periods, to ensure the safety of all our guests, the team will be present in the areas to ensure that the maximum capacity is not exceeded, and that the height guidelines are being adhered to.
